About the
Island of Fire.

Where we operate

A small island
in the Visayas.

Siquijor is a small island in the central Philippines. It's easy to reach , direct flights now run from Cebu, and there are regular ferries from Cebu, Bohol and Dumaguete (Negros). It's becoming a very popular stop for travellers, and we love watching the island slowly find its place on the map.

Expect mesmerising waterfalls, big caves, mountain ridges and a rich underwater world. The island has a reputation for folk magic and healers , part curious, part beautiful, part good story.

San Juan, on the western coast, is the island's holiday town , where most of the beach life, bars and food spots are. It's where we're based and where most travellers end up staying.

Off-water highlights

Plenty to do
between sessions.

01

Waterfalls & caves

Cambugahay's turquoise tiers, Lugnason, Kawasan and a handful more tucked into the jungle , plus a string of caves to swim and crawl through. There's more than you can fit in a single day.

02

Reefs & marine sanctuaries

Quiet shore-dive sites, marine sanctuaries with sea turtles, and easy reefs to snorkel straight off the beach. The water around the island is genuinely clean.

03

Mystical side

Siquijor is known across the Philippines for its folk healers, herbal traditions and old stories. Most of it is gentle, curious and worth a respectful visit.

04

Mountain & viewpoints

Mount Bandilan sits at the centre of the island, with a handful of viewpoints scattered around. Sunset sessions are mostly along the San Juan coastline.

Getting here

One ferry away.

The fastest route is to fly into Cebu (CEB) , direct flights to Siquijor now run from there. You can also fly into Dumaguete (DGT) and take a short fastcraft across to Siquijor (Larena or Siquijor port). Regular ferries also link Cebu, Bohol and Negros.

If you're already doing the Cebu-Bohol-Negros route, adding Siquijor is an easy detour. On no-wind days or transition months, we can help line up a tour with local drivers we trust.
